New Year and New Tools!
What better way to celebrate the new year then with some brand new, shiny garden tools! I finally got some of my own after having to borrowing my Dads spade and fork from his allotment shed everytime I needed to do some digging. I settled with a beautiful set from Drapers, stainless steel and FSC certified ash handles which have a lovely antique look to them. It was just like christmas when the box arrived and I couldnt wait to get up my lottie to do some digging and weeding using my new tools. Luckily I did have something that needed digging, the turnip patch was finally empty of turnips and needed digging over ready for spring time planting.
I also managed to finally put up my storage hooks that my Dad made for me a year ago. It is now attached to my shed and all my shiny tools are now sitting neat and tidy on the wall. Note to self: Make sure tools are cleaned after use!
After all that digging and DIY it was time for a cup of well earned tea with the feet up… theres always time for tea!
