Christmas is in the air and I’m starting to feel festive! The days are getting colder, the Christmas tunes are playing on the radio and my festive jumper has been dusted off. I love this time of year and couldn’t wait to decorate my shed with lots of pretty lights.
We have lots of beautiful lights for sale over on the shop and I couldn’t resist decorating my little purple potting shed with festive cheer. To make things even handier we stock not only mains powered lights but also battery powered and solar panel lights too making them perfect for outdoor use and of course… sheds! The best thing about solar panel lights is that you literally just have to hang them up and forget about them, the solar panels soak up all the energy from the sun and then as soon as it gets dark the lights shine! So I decided to hang some solar panel lights around the front of the shed and around the little Christmas tree which I bought last year. Then I draped some of those adorable watering can lights inside the shed over my kitchen cabinet and to finish it off I hung some solar paneled jars from the metal crooks to help light the path into plot 15c. I’m rather pleased with how pretty and cosy my little shed looks, now I just need a heater so I can sit up there and enjoy the lights.. Although no doubt I’ll be keeping the lights there all year round!

Keeping the homey fires burning. The lamps are cheery for short Winter afternoons and long Winter dusks.
It’s a tad too cold to sit up there in the evenings now but in the Summer it’s nice to unwind
