Another busy weekend spent setting up shop, this time we were at the Kent Garden Show and had the best three days selling and meeting customers and fans. The weather behaved as best as it possibly could, Friday was sunny, Saturday was cloudy and Sunday was sunny. We were forecast for rain and storms on the Monday so were grateful for the cloudy day that was given to us with no drop of rain to dampen the day.
We met the lovely Tina and Debbie who both follow the blog and watch the videos on Youtube, we had a good old chat before having a photo taken. Another lovely follower called Jemma purchased a watering can for her garden and we were glad to find out that it did indeed fit underneath her water butt perfectly!
By the end of Monday our stall was looking a little sparse, we had sold quite a few large items and had to rearrange the stall every few hours! The border edging very nearly sold out and the medium crooks were all gone by Sunday, the small and large crooks were also all snapped up on Monday and all the obelisks found new homes. Looks like my Dad will be busy making even more metal work over the next week or so! Not that we are complaining at all, it sure felt good to sell out of items but we wished we had more to re stock for all the other lovely customers, next time we’ll have to make double.
Our next show will be on the 5th of June at the Solent Gardener’s Fayre in Southampton and then after that we will be selling at the Garden Show in Stansted, Rowlands Castle, on the 10th, 11th and 12th of June. See you there!
