Today has been beautiful, the skies have been blue, the trees are changing colour and even though it’s getting a bit colder I decided to venture out for a walk around the farm whilst Charles was busy in the shed.
It takes roughly 20 minutes to walk to the furthest end of the farm and on the way you get to see a beautiful view of the valley which is extra special this time of year. The leaves have been slowly changing colour over the past few weeks and they display a stunning array of shades. Soon they’ll be gone and I’m hoping for snow this Winter, I would love to see the farm and the valley covered in white!
Whilst I was on my walk I had also been sent on a mission too, sometimes the sheep wander into the brambles and get themselves stuck so I had to walk the long way round the farm and check that none of them were tangled up. I managed to help three sheep get untangled from all the brambles and continued on my journey down by the river and along the different fields right to the furthest end. Then I headed back to the farm for a hot cup of tea and some crumpets dripping with butter… Autumn I love you!

Ha! I was listening to an audiobook, The Wind in the Willows, when I saw this post. Thanks for the pictures. I can smell the fallen leaves.
You know I’ve never read the Wind in the Willows and only started collecting the Beatrix Potter books last year! The leaves have all nearly fallen now and Winter is setting in, I’m hoping to see snow in Wales this year!
