Not so long ago I received an email from Ebay UK asking if I’d like to join them on a collaboration for their campaign #FillYourCartWithColour… Of course I couldn’t say no! Being a huge user of Ebay and spending hours every week on the site it seemed like a perfect idea and one I was excited about. They gave me a budget and not long after the parcels arrived in the most beautiful packaging!
Inside the parcel was a pair of adorable red Hunter ankle wellington boots (http://from.ebay.co.uk/KatiesHunterBoots), Orla Kiely gardening gloves (http://from.ebay.co.uk/KatiesGloves) and a Moulton Mill green watering can (http://from.ebay.co.uk/KatiesWateringCan). Everything I needed to help get the allotment into shape for the next growing year and to help keep it watered during those hot Summer months! The parcel couldn’t have come at a better time as Autumn has officially arrived and the allotment is starting to die back ready for the big tidy up…
However, the biggest and heaviest parcel arrived via special courier and the one my Dad was most excited about. We’ve been wanting a rotavator for a while now and Ebay answered our prays with this beautiful bright red beast (http://from.ebay.co.uk/KatiesRotavator). It’s going to make our lives so much easier and give us all that extra time to do other jobs on the allotment instead of breaking our backs digging. It didn’t take my Dad long to put the machine together and he’s started to get his allotment ready to rotavate. My plot on the other hand still has crops growing so it will be a few months until I can unleash the rotavator on my vegetable beds, but I am so excited!
Thank you Ebay for filling my allotment with colour, for making my dreams come true and for enabling me carrying on doing what I love with the tools that I need.
