It’s that time of year again, the schools are off, the sun is out (for now!) and we’re off on our Summer holiday! This year we are heading to Wales for the first time in my life and I just can’t wait.
We’ll be taking our trusty VW campervan Florence on the journey, leaving Monday morning on the 4 hour trip. First stop is Pembrokeshire and we’re staying for a week in little campsite in Fishguard, then it’s off for another week in the Brecon Beacons to explore the great outdoors. I’ve always wanted to visit Wales so I am super excited, I’ve even been trying to learn Welsh and can say a few greetings and count past 10 too!
However, before we visit Wales we’ll be selling at the Loseley Garden Show in Guildford from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th of July. It’s been a little manic trying to get things ready for the show AND for holiday to say the least!
Therefore I just wanted to say that things are going to be a tad quiet for the next 2 weeks whilst I’m off exploring Wales. I’ll be sure to share some photos on the Facebook page and the Instagram account too and no doubt I’ll be writing an extra long blog post when I get home. So if you are going to miss me then don’t forget to follow me on social media and I will be back in 2 weeks time, hopefully with lots of adventures to tell you all.

My home country. I’m so jealous. I’m from Carmarthen (which I don’t necessarily recommend stopping at, sorry hometown). I’m sure you’ve made loads of plans but I highly recommend a visit to Laugharne if you pass by. Dylan Thomas’ boat house is so lovely and they do a very nice Welsh Tea (don’t get one each, they’re massive). Tenby is lovely too and in the Brecon Beacons there are some incredible waterfalls that are really worth visiting http://www.breconbeacons.org/waterfall-country-walking-trails Have a wonderful time xxx
So excited for you! We have a 1973 orange and white VW Bus. It’s my husbands work vehicle. V dubs Rock! I garden and the hubs does air cooled vehicles. Hope you have a grand holiday, and send us lots of pics! Safe journey !

Hello Katie! I thought I should pop up and say hello because over the last few days I’ve obessively read your blog from start to finish – I’ve just applied for an allotment and I’m so excited/nervous that nothing will grow! Your blog has been an amazing source of inspiration and information though, so thank you š
