Since I’ve been back from Wales it’s been all hands on deck getting ready for the Stratford-upon-Avon Home and Garden Show this coming weekend. It’s on from the 15th to the 17th of July and we’ll be heading down there tomorrow to set up for the special Gala evening so it’s going to be one long and busy weekend for us. If you do manage to pop down then come over and say hello, and bring some sunshine with you!
Before we head off though I just wanted to share with you all a new product that my Dad has been working on over the past month. He’s been super busy in the shed creating a new range of metal work to sell online in the shop and at the garden shows and I am so excited, he is one clever bean! This product has to be my favourite though and they are just so pretty… Metal poppy seed heads!
I think I’m in love and will definitely be giving him a few pennies so I can put some up the allotment, I mean they just look so pretty in a flower border and can also be used as plant supports too… perfect! They are 112cm in height and cost £5.00 each with the postage as little as £2.98. The steel stems have a natural looking wave to them and they will turn a beautiful rust colour over time, giving them that rustic and vintage look to them. I absolutely love poppy seed heads anyway (maybe even more than the poppy!) so I just love that these beauties will last years in the garden but rather sadly they won’t spread as easy…
