I must admit that I am one of those people that go mad with scrapbooks, give me some patterned paper, glue and a typewriter and I am happy. So what better way to spend an evening then combining my two true loves; gardening and scrapbooking!
As you can tell I do love taking photographs, you can always delete them later on but you can never go back and capture those moments once they have passed (thats what I keep telling myself anyway!) I came across this great company called Polargram, which print your instagram photos polaroid style. I used to own a polaroid camera but only used it for around a year before the films starting getting ridiculously expensive and hard to come by. I then moved onto my beloved Instax mini, who still produce film at a resonable price and I just love the look, the feel and the excitement of watching a picture develop. My main camera however is a DSLR Canon 450D which I have to take everywhere with me, theres always memories to capture after all!
I call this my neat and tidy scrapbook, one to show the grandchildren later in life and to bore them with stories of my ‘good life’. When I’m older it will be nice to look back at this book and remember all the good and happy times I spent up the lottie (thats if I’m not still sitting up there drinking tea and weeding when I’m 90!)
