I arrived back in Hampshire last night a little sad and lonely, long distance relationships sure are hard but I’m lucky enough to have the allotment to keep me busy and my work life is starting to get hectic now too. I was also lucky enough to have a special gift waiting for me when I got home, the most beautiful wooden trug made by the ever so talented Liam from LoldeanTimber.
Engraved on the side of the trug is the name ‘Lavender and Leeks’ with a beautiful hand painted sprig of lavender and a leek either side. I absolutely love it and it’s sure going to come in handy this growing year, I can’t wait to fill it up with homegrown vegetables and flowers from the allotment. Although there wasn’t anything to harvest today I couldn’t resist taking it up the allotment for a quick photo session and doesn’t it look so pretty?! Bring on the harvests!
